A/N: Am I the only one who found the last three episodes mildly disappointing? Aside from that death scene, that is. Anyways, this is a collection of scenes that didn’t happen. It takes place both during the seasons and after it. The colours for each section correspond to valentine colours and to the main idea of the scene. And that is as ambivalent as I will get.

I’m sure that there are a few characterization problems, but I’m rather happy with this piece.

A/N: I won’t deny that I think the only reason Mytho picked Rue is because Rue loved him. Not because he loved her.

I haven't written fanfiction in a while, so I'd forgotten how difficult it was to get the characters spot-on and still be a little playful. My intention was to write something that the boys (maybe) would have written themselves, but I instead ended up writing something that was thoroughly myself (why should I be surprised?).

Wishing you a happy new year!

This story was written for your request for a fic with a Filipino heroine and Filipino Martial Arts, and also for a fic involving Philippine mythology, since the characters are based on an existing legend. I think you might recognize a certain bit in the end here, since it was actually inspired by a Twitter fic you posted on your website. I really thought it was such a cool concept when I read it, and as I was writing this story, it just somehow fit.

I apologize for any inaccuracies in the techniques, by the way, since I only have a semester's worth of knowledge in basic arnis, ahaha. I'd be happy to edit the fight scenes, if so.
